A truly spooky experience awaits those who dare take the ghostly Halloween challenge at Manly’s Quarantine Station.

Something spookily special is planned for the days leading up to and on Halloween night, and almost all ages are invited.

COVERED. got a taste of what will be happening in a special preview tour filled with frightening facts, ghostly experiences and some spine tingling visits to the old hospital, shower block and laundry.

For anyone keen to sample these delights for themselves, Q Station is hosting specially tailored Halloween tours from Friday October 27 to Tuesday October 31 from 6.30pm.

The Scream Night Out family tour promises to give you quite a fright, while the Extreme Scream tour, for those aged over 15 years, will have you screeching.

Both the tours are designed for those who may, or may not, believe in ghosts but still wish to enjoy a scare or two as they tour the historic site and learn a few facts about its former inhabitants.

The regular storytelling Ghostly Encounters tour will also run as usual - with a later start time - and Q Station will be pairing with Oz Para Tech to create the ultimate Paranormal Investigation Experience on Halloween night.

Everyone is encouraged to get into the Halloween spirit by dressing up in costume but remember to wear flat, closed-toe shoes for the tour.

And a special Halloween menu is on offer at the Engine Room that includes Haunted Hospital Burgers with children’s fingers, Gravediggers Dirt Cake and a few blood curdling cocktails including Blood Peach Bellini and Soul Taker. The COVERED. team enjoyed a taste test of these delicious dishes, perfect for giving you extra strength for the experience that awaits…
