When you’re at Criniti’s, you’re family
The mantra at Criniti’s is, “When you’re here, you’re family.”
The team at this family-owned eatery believe that the experience of sharing food with family and friends is sacred.
With the Christmas season already in full swing, there’s no better place to gather your loved ones, than Criniti’s Manly.
Sitting down at Criniti’s feels like you’re taking a seat in your Nonna’s kitchen. The popular Italian restaurant is often filled with locals and visitors who can’t get enough of the gloriously good food. You’ll feel right at home as you take in the warm, bubbly atmosphere. Soak up the sounds of people gathering and connecting across the communal family tables that Criniti will happily fill with an irresistible feast. You’ll struggle with what to order, for sure, as everything just looks so… damn… good.
Criniti’s menus come straight from the heart. Just as their aim is to create memorable moments that you’ll cherish years on, their food is inspired by moments around the Criniti family table. The recipes have been passed down from generations; as you enjoy the team’s own childhood favourites, you’ll feel like you’re part of the Criniti family too. and are bona fide childhood favourites.
Start off with a fresh fig salad, with rocket, roasted walnuts, pine nuts, grapes and bufala ricotta, drizzled with a honey balsamic vinaigrette.
Next, order Hunting with Cosimo. It’s a Criniti family tradition; pork ribs sautéed with homemade salami, Italian sausage, pork belly, confit cherry tomatoes, basil & chilli in Papa Cosimo’s famous Napoli sauce, with a side of garlic bread.
If you’re looking to feed the whole tribe, the BBQ meat platter is a Criniti family tradition served large with a half rack of pork, lamb & beef ribs, half BBQ grilled chicken in BBQ sauce, tenderloin, Italian sausages, BBQ grilled chicken skewer and BBQ grilled lamb skewers. It’s served with chips, char-grilled flatbread, Mediterranean side salad and garlic & chilli aioli dips.
The Forgetaboutit burger is a must try! It’s a remarkable monster of a burger, with a triple beef patty, triple melted cheddar, crispy bacon, butter lettuce, onion rings and jalapeños, with Criniti’s special mayo, garlic and chilli aioli.
For pasta lovers, we’d suggest trying the Fettuccine Carbonara, a delicious creamy mix of crispy bacon, egg, shallots and grated pecorino. This one’s also a traditional family recipe.
Their lasagne is a heavenly layering of beef Bolognese, béchamel, mozzarella, parmesan, Napoli sauce, all topped with Mamma Rosa’s meatball. Yummo!
And of course, there’s the pizzas, available in one, two or three metre sizes. We’d recommend the Nonna Caterina; Napoli sauce, mozzarella, fresh rocket, prosciutto, tomato, bruschetta, bufala ricotta, parmesan shavings and oregano.
Mammas and papas, Criniti’s has a kid friendly menu with meal sizes perfect for little ones. With over three hundred dishes on the menu, they’ll have something the whole famiglia will enjoy. It’s time to eat, drink and create memories with your loved ones.
Book in and get silly with the Criniti’s family this Christmas. Buon appetito!
