Getting into the city from Manly is even easier now with the brand new Barangaroo Fast Ferry route will commence in September 2017, the first-ever direct ferry service between Manly and Barangaroo.

The new service will operate daily between Manly Hotel Wharf No. 3 and King Street Wharf  1, Barangaroo. It will depart every 30 minutes during peak hour Monday to Friday commencing from 6:45am. Weekends the service will operate regularly from 9:30am through to 6pm.

Barangaroo Fast Ferry prices will start from $8.90 one-way, with an 11-trip travel pass available from only $7.50 per trip.

Anthony Haworth has said that the new Barangaroo Fast Ferry route would not be possible without the support of the NSW Government, Transport Minister Andrew Constance and Member for Manly James Griffin MP.

“This service will cut commuter travel time from Manly to Barangaroo and surrounding city locations significantly and will enhance the use of Sydney Harbour as Sydney’s blue highway”, says Mr Haworth.

“We would like to thank the local member James Griffin, who has been an advocate for this service and active in working alongside Captain Cook Cruises since his term in office, to ensure the Barangaroo Fast Ferry came to fruition” continued Mr Haworth.

SeaLink’s announcement comes after Andrew Constance, Minister for Transport and Infrastructure recently announced commercial ferry operators will be allowed to provide direct services between Manly and Darling Harbour without needing a passenger service contract with Transport for NSW.
