Ready, Set, Race Into Diggers Free Family Fun Day

Harbord Diggers are going full throttle for their upcoming Family Fun Day on Sunday 28 February with a Go Kart race track set to be featured at the club for the very first time.

Children from 3 years will be able to buckle up and race their friends around the inflatable track thanks to Go Karts Party, with the day also featuring plenty of activities to keep the kids occupied with regular Family Fun Day entertainment such as face painting, a jumping castle and an animal farm to be part of the event.

Dale Hunt, General Manager of Harbord Diggers, is excited to offer this brand new activity to the Family Fun Day for the entire community to enjoy.

“This will be the first time we have offered a Go Kart track for the kids at our Family Fun Day and we are looking forward to seeing the reaction from families when they visit us next Sunday for our Go Kart Party.

“It’s great that we are able to give our community something different to enjoy in addition to our regular free family fun day activities. And you never know, we may find Australia’s next Will Power at our event.

“The karts are ideal for children aged 3 to 10 years and have a safe top speed of six kilometres per hour which is perfect for children because it means they can experience all the fun of go karting without giving mum and dad any grey hairs,” Mr Hunt said.

The Go Kart track will be set up on the outside grassed area at the club and will have hands on supervision at all times from the experienced team at Go Karts Party.

“This will be the second last Family Fun Day of the season so we encourage families to join us for the day from noon. We have had some fantastic crowds down here in the past and can’t wait to welcome even more families in the future,” Mr Hunt concluded.

Harbord Diggers’ February Family Fun Day will take place on 28 February from 12pm to 3pm. This month’s Go Kart Party will be followed by free live entertainment in the main lounge and the Mega Sunday Raffle from 4.30pm.
