Join in with Dive Centre Manly for an underwater and beach clean.

Dive Centre is aiming to collect as many single use plastic items from the beach as possible to raise awareness of this significant issue. All findings are submitted to Project Aware, a global charity which puts pressure on large corporations to reduce their reliance on single use plastics.

Divers and snorkelers must register for tickets and meet at Dive Centre Manly. As an appreciation of your contribution, gear rental is half price for this event. Net bags are provided but you will need your own gloves.

If you're not a confident swimmer or diver, you can stay dry and clean the beach. No need to register, just meet the crew down at Manly Cove (between the Wharf and Aquarium at 11am.

Following the clean up, Dive Centre will be putting on a sausage sizzle for a gold coin donation which will be pumped back into local projects to reduce plastic.

Everyone is welcome, so share the info with your family and friends. Check out the event here.
