Learn what the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) funding model means for public schools and how it will impact your children at a free information session being jointly hosted by Northern Beaches Council and the Cerebral Palsy Alliance on Thursday 19 October, 10am - 12pm.

The event is designed to inform parents about changes the Department of Education has made in response to the NDIS and to provide information about school learning spaces, facility and building upgrades, therapy provision, budgets and reporting and assessment.

Representatives from the Department of Education and the National Disability Insurance Agency will be present to provide information and answer questions at the information session, which is being held at the Cerebral Palsy Alliance in Allambie Heights.

Bookings are essential by Friday 13 October. Email allambielifepoints@cerebralpalsy.org.au.

he NDIS is an Australia-wide scheme to support people with permanent and significant disability, their families and carers. It is being progressively rolled out across NSW to replace the current NSW disability support system and will be operating state-wide by July 2018.
