HELP SHAPE ARTS AND CULTURE ON THE BEACHES

029.JPG

Northern Beaches Council is inviting community members to an inspirational evening of music, networking and information sharing about a broad range of exciting new arts and culture projects.

The council is keen to talk to the community about how to inspire arts and creativity on the Northern Beaches as a way to create a more inclusive and connected community.

The event will showcase six projects including the Northern Beaches Arts and Creativity Strategy, Creative Art Space North, Public Art Trail and Coastal Walkway, Manly Art Gallery & Museum masterplan, Mona Vale Performance Space feasibility study, and the Avalon Place Plan, which is likely to have a strong cultural theme.

Northern Beaches Mayor Michael Regan said the evening will explain what the projects involve, where they are up to and seek feedback from the community. It is open to everyone, not just art enthusiasts, and will be held at  Glen St Theatre.

This free event is on Wednesday 16 May from 6-8pm with light refreshments provided. For more information about the event or to book a ticket visit northernbeaches.nsw.gov.au
