Jacki has been a full-time artist since 2009. Prior to this, she worked as an art teacher for almost 30 years. She has held solo exhibitions since 1982 and has been a finalist in numerous art prizes. Jacki’s work is literal but she loves to exaggerate line and use of colour. She often depicts the ‘mundane’ and tries to make the viewer see what is often taken for granted. Her recent Body of Work is based on her local environment at Brooklyn on the Hawkesbury River as well as travels to Tasmania, South Australia and Paris.
